Poem Presentation Speech Project

For next class, prepare a two to three minute speech about the poem that you have been assigned.

First, be prepared to recite your poem.

Second, discuss the content of your poem:

a)      Discuss the poet’s artistic purpose in the poem.

b)      Explain how he achieves that purpose.

Remember that you will be graded on both the content and the presentation of your speech, so practice your speech out loud before class.
